We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our high-performing team.  This person may be local to Chicago, or work remotely with our collocated Sales, Product, and Engineering Teams.  This person will be responsible for planning and overseeing multiple projects across the team to ensure delivery of our software and implementations in a timely manner and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Sales, Product, and Engineering teams in determining and defining project scope, objectives, and statements of work
  • Identify resources needed, people, process, and technology
  • Manage resources in an effective manner
  • Develop project plans and track resource and budget utilization
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Communicate status with leadership and with the team – presentation and dashboard form
  • Identify key performance indicators and measure project performance, identifying and addressing areas of improvement and optimization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business, management, or other related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the Software industry
  • Desired: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate
  • Hands-on technical experience with project management and collaboration tools, e.g. Confluence
  • Outstanding organizational abilities
  • Experience with the United States Government Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • Builds positive working relationships across team boundaries, with an infectious “can do” attitude, and a willingness to adapt based on feedback and an evolving understanding of the problem to be solved
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, develop relationships, and interact with all levels of management
  • Resourcefulness, efficient, problem-solver, and a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong Team Player, strong communication
