Armada International, a leading military blog and resource for the U.S. Military, recently recognized the Instant Connect Enterprise™ (ICE) push-to-talk platform running over SEMPRE’s 5G network for the U.S. Air Force.

Together, SEMPRE and Instant Connect are providing a new level of communications agility, versatility, and resilience for the U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC). SEMPRE’s T-Node creates a rapidly deployable 5G network for the AFGSC, a so-called “5G in a box.” The ICE platform runs over it seamlessly, providing advanced tactical communications with land mobile radio bridging – everything over IP.

The ICE platform links warfighters, commanders, and base operations in a single integrated, portable voice environment allowing users of radios, smartphones, tablets, computers, and other devices to communicate and achieve the mission.
